Charlie previously highlighted the unforgettable 2022/23 title battle, which saw Cambridge edge Rams and Sale FC, and this season’s National One promotion race is shaping up to be another classic.

Rotherham Titans currently lead the way, holding a four-point advantage over both Plymouth Albion (2nd) and Blackheath (3rd) as the competition resumes this weekend.

Adding further intrigue, fourth-placed Sale FC remain in contention. Sitting six points behind Plymouth and Blackheath, Sale play the top three over the last three rounds, starting with a trip to Blackheath on Saturday.

With key head-to-head clashes on the horizon, the National One title race is poised for yet another thrilling finale, and it is fantastic to see that it has captured national attention.
