National League Rugby Update: National 2 structure
Following discussions this week between the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and National League Rugby, the 16 Northern clubs set to compete at Level 4 next season have been invited to attend a meeting on the evening of Monday, 8th June.
This is to assess options for the coming season and is one further attempt to find a solution to the geographical considerations.
National League Rugby Chairman John Inverdale said: “Everybody is aware of how difficult this situation has been over the past few seasons.
“All parties are trying their hardest to find an equitable solution.”
A further update will be provided in due course.
