The successful team(s) will join Elior Champ Rugby for the 2026-27 season. The teams in contention are Rotherham Titans, Blackheath, and Plymouth Albion.

With the final round of fixtures taking place this Saturday (April 25), Rotherham Titans are currently sitting in the automatic promotion spot on 106 points and face Sale FC (4th) at Clifton Lane.

Mathematically, Harvey Biljon’s side require just two points to secure the title and a return to the second tier for the first time since 2018.

Blackheath (102 points) remain in contention for the title, but their focus will also be on securing second place, which would give Tom Stradwick’s side home advantage in the National One play-off on May 9th.

‘Club’ host Clifton (11th) on the final day while Plymouth Albion in third (99 points) take on Leeds Tykes (9th) at Brickfields, ready to pounce should Blackheath slip up.

The winner of the National One play-off will enter the ‘Champ Accession Final’ where they will play the loser of the Champ Relegation play-off game between the teams placed 12th and 13th in Champ Rugby.

The winner of the ‘Champ Accession Final’ on May 23rd will join the champions of National One in Champ Rugby.
